IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION DELEGATES VISITS NELFUND DIRECTORS IN ABUJA

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education delegation’s visit to NELFUND (Nigeria Education Loan Fund) on Tuesday 11th February was a resounding success. The trip aimed to foster a collaborative relationship between the university and NELFUND, exploring opportunities for student financing and development. The NELFUND team extended a warm welcome to the university delegation, setting the tone for a productive engagement.

The visit facilitated open and interactive discussions between the two parties. The university delegation raised pertinent questions and concerns, which were addressed by the NELFUND team. Both parties expressed interest in exploring potential collaboration opportunities. This could include joint awareness programs, capacity-building initiatives, and tailored financing solutions for university students. The university delegation and NELFUND agreed on concrete next steps. These include scheduling follow-up meetings, sharing additional information, and initiating joint program planning as well timely refund to students.

The university visit to NELFUND was a positive and productive experience. It marked the beginning of a promising partnership between the two organizations. By working together, they can enhance student financing options, promote financial inclusion, and contribute to the development of Nigeria’s education sector.


NELFUND commended the University for commencing the refund process to the students who have already paid their school fees and urged the University to complete the process soonest, thereby setting the pace for other Tertiary institutions of higher learning in Nigeria.
