My name is Graham-kingsley Gift Imaonyani , l am the Acting Bursar, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Public Sector Accounting, Master of Business Administration in Accounting and a B.Sc in Accounting. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate Member lnstitute of Taxation of Nigeria. I am proficient in financial management. With over 17 years experience as a staff of the Bursary Unit and a career civil servant , I have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and professionalism in all aspects of my work. I possess a comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance in all financial activities.
As a professional accountant, I have successfully managed complex financial systems and processes, overseeing budget preparation, financial reporting, and auditing. I am skilled in utilizing various accounting software and tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
In my previous roles within the university bursary department, I consistently exhibited exceptional leadership qualities. I am good at managing a diverse team, providing guidance, and ensuring optimal performance.
With my recent appointment as the acting bursar, I am excited to take on new responsibilities and challenges for a better financial planning and resource allocation, which will enable me make informed decisions that support the university’s financial objectives and contribute to its overall success.
