FINE AND APPLIED ARTS
INTRODUCTION
The vision of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts (FAA, whether as an intellectual discipline or as an artisanal skill is to harmonize the experiences and skills of the students by inculcating the practical skills of do-it-yourself.
To this end, the curriculum is designed to enable the students to develop their individual experiences, skills, tendencies and powers for the fulfilment of their creative powers and will and to employ the same to contribute to national development through the paradigm of technological development and aesthetic inducement. Hence, visual art is at the heart of that discourse.
